Aurora Lights Project

Aurora Lights ProjectWe are proud to announce that Paris Elementary is a participating school in the Aurora Lights Project. This partnership with the CU Medical Center and Children's Hospital will provide additional opportunities for our students to learn to use math and science and careers throughout the year. Positive Behavior Support (PBS)

Paris Elementary is participating in a new discipline program sponsored by Aurora Public Schools and the Colorado Department of Education. Using this program students are rewarded for their exemplary behavior showing Respect, Integrity, being Supportive, and Engagement while at school. Click here for additional information.

PTO Family Movie Night

Read Across America-Bedtime Story Night

Paris celebrated Dr. Seuss' Birthday during Bedtime Story Night. Students and their families came to school to listen stories. Students created heiroglyphics, learned how to play different reading games, listened to stories written by Dr. Seuss and many other great authors read by our teachers and special guest Aunt Polly.  Mr. Matt Cook, Board of Education President and Ms. Jane Barber, Board of Education member joined the Paris family for this wonderful evening. 2009 Bedtime Story Night

Aurora Lights Partnership Shares Books with Paris Students

 December 18, 2008, Paris students received books that were donated from the Aurora Lights Partnership members. University of Colorado, Children's Hospital, and Fitzsimmons Redevelopment donated books and refreshments for all the students to enjoy before winter break began. Channel 9 News Education reporter also visited Mr. Nava's room, to talk with students about receiving their books. Holiday Art Show and Music Concert

Art ShowOn December 11 the Paris community celebrated students' success in Art with an Art Show. Mrs. Pravecek displayed many different types of art from all grade levels. Snowmen, tin art, T-Shirts, found art projects and pillows were just a few of the different projects on display. Following the Music Program many different pieces of art were sold to parents and students.  The Music Program was a treat for everyone who came. Students in grades 3, 4, and 5 sang a vareity of holdiay songs including Feliz Navidad. A special thanks to Ms. Pravecek and Mr. Young for a terrific evening.
